" A WINNING COMBINATION "
" Win on Sunday and sell on Monday " has been a Key Motor sports sponsor motivation for many years. However, success at the cash register takes more than winning at the track. It requires a winning combination that works for you 365 days a year, for your product or service company. Jeff Storm and his crew will represent you and deliver a professional image for your 2005 Sponsorship.
· A skilled crew helps to prepare the car at the shop and handles all of the Pit Stop and crew related duties at the track. The team works out of their facility in Jeffs' home town of Waterford, WI.
Stock Car Racing is
a fan friendly spectator sport.
An average weekend will attract between 10,000 and 15,000 people. These fans
consist mainly of adults. 41% are 18-34 and 38% are 35-54. Men account for
62%. They are well educated. 61% have at least some post high school education
and 26% are college graduates. Fans have good jobs. Skilled Trade Workers
make up 27% and Professionals account for 23%. Almost 10% are self-employed.
The result is fans with disposable income. 47% earn between, $20,000 and $35,000.
While 40% earn more than $35,000. Over 1/3 attend more than 6 races per year.
These numbers were found through surveys at 3 different speedways.
Although motor-sports sponsorship may not be at the top of your list for 2005 Marketing, we hope you agree that this proposal deserves serious consideration. Auto Racing is the fastest growing sport according to a study done by Nordhaus Research of Southfield, Michigan. One-fourth of American Adults are fans of motor-sports. Of the nations forty-seven million racing fans, 41 million watched at least 1 race on television and 28 million attended one or more races.
YOUR SPONSORSHIP
COMMITMENT
The 2005 Financial Commitment for the Primary Sponsor is open for discussion
and negotiation. Whatever sponsorship arrangement is mutually agreeable the
Storm racing Team expects the primary sponsor to cover approximately 50% of
the teams operating expense for 2005. At this level, your total commitment
for a top flight Racing Team would be a small fraction of the dollars required
for the primary sponsorship of the American Speed Association (ASA) car. These
sponsorships run upwards of $300,000.
Basic Sponsorship would start out with your name on the car. From there you can select any ideas you may want to add, such as merchandising and promotional thoughts. Storm Racing Team and Jeff Storm are prepared to work with you to develop a marketing and sales program. The team is also open to an incentive compensation plan that bases your financial commitment on the teams track performance.
SPONSORSHIP VISIBILITY
As the primary sponsor, your company name would be clearly identified. The
Racing team would become a billboard for you. Your name would be seen by the
fans in the stands and captured by the media. Your colors would be used to
paint the car and the Hood would be reserved for your name and graphics. The
Huge Side Panels on the Racing Team Transporter are available to you for your
company Identification. Jeffs' uniform and the crew shirts would also carry
your identification.
The local newspapers as well as The Late Model Digest, The Midwest Racing News and The Checkered Flag Racing News generate Media Coverage. The value of all this should far exceed the investment required to be the primary sponsor for 2005. In 1997 and 1999 Jeff received Front-page coverage in The Late Model Digest. This is a national newspaper that covers the finest aspects of racing.
MERCHANDISING,
PROMOTION AND OTHER ACTION IDEAS
Whatever approach you wish to take, you are virtually assured of receiving
more brand name exposure dollar for dollar than that provided by other 2005
advertising. Following are other ideas for your consideration. Your staff,
your advertising agency and the Storm Racing Team can implement these ideas.
The Midwest All-Star Racing Series is a top notch racing series. They are considered one of the most popular up and coming series in the Midwest at this time. This is an exciting series and always generates large crowds.
Jeff Storm and the Storm Racing Team are ready and willing to work with you in any way possible to deliver the return on your investment that only a winning combination can provide.
Thank you for your Consideration:
